RAMBAN: Former MP and Minister and Congress candidate for Udhampur-Doda Lok Sabha seat, Ch Lal Singh has alleged that BJP and DPAP are the two faces of the same coin and the people will teach them a lesson in coming Lok Sabha elections. Addressing several public meetings in Okhral, Pogal-Paristan and Sangaldhaan area of Ramban district, Ch. Lal Singh said that BJP is badly exposed in this election and trying to hoodwink the people by using its B team- DPAP but people have understood their cheap politics and have decided to teach them a lesson. While lambasting his rival candidates, Ch Lal Singh said that they have given only destruction, frustration and a sense of insecurity. They have actually brought you on the road and even deprived you of your basic needs of livelihood. This leadership deprived you of your land, jobs, employment and the basic resources, Lal Singh asserted. He reminded the people of his tenure as Health Minister, Forest Minister and even as MP when everyone used to feel the power in hand but the present incumbent has never bothered even to reach to the people and ask their well being, Lal Singh alleged. He lambasted state BJP leaders alleging that they have nothing to say on the unemployment of J&K. Ch Lal Singh said if voted to power all the posts lying vacant will be filled up urgently and the schemes of ReT, SPOs and ReZ etc will be restored. “It is very strange that no one can ask any question on the issues of unemployment, development, price rise and plight of the farmers to the arrogant BJP leaders “, he added. Ex-MP appealed to the people to vote and support him to teach them a lesson of all their misdeeds like Agnipath Scheme, Smart Metering, unemployment and electoral bonds which is just a tip of the iceberg. JKPCC chief while addressing meetings appealed to the people to support Congress candidate, Ch Lal Singh and restore era of peace, prosperity and development in the J&K state. He said DPAP stands exposed for internally supporting BJP in J&K.
