JNEG Holds Emergency Meeting in Jammu

Jammu: An emergency meeting of the Jammu Newspaper Editors Guild (JNEG) was held at Lemon Tree Hotel, Jammu, under the patronage of its President-Patron, A.K. Sawhney. The meeting was presided over by Raj Daluja, Chairman of JNEG and Editor-in-Chief of State Times.Mr A.K Sawhney president on behalf of all it’s members expressed concern over disaster and natural calamity of Rajouri, Poonch and other effected areas where innocent loss of lives and property damaged suffered .MR.SAWHNEY on behalf JNEG demanded compensation for effected families.
Senior Vice President Ram Dubey, Editor of Katu Satya, highlighted several pressing issues concerning the challenges currently being faced by the press fraternity and media establishments. He also drew attention to certain activities that were allegedly detrimental to the interests and objectives of JNEG.
The members present deliberated on these matters in detail and unanimously condemned the alleged anti-JNEG activities of certain associated individuals. After thorough discussion, it was resolved that such persons would not be invited to participate in future JNEG programmes and activities. The meeting reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to maintaining discipline, unity, and the dignity of the journalistic profession.
Speaking on the occasion, Vishal Chopra, Chief Spokesperson of JNEG, delivered the vote of thanks. He assured all members that JNEG would continue to safeguard the interests of journalists and media organizations and would take every possible initiative to address the genuine concerns of the press fraternity. The meeting concluded with a collective resolve to strengthen the organization and uphold ethical journalism.Other JNEG Members iqbal shah kazmi , Vinod kumar , Ankush Mahajan, Sanjeev Chadha , Vicky Khalsa , Abhishek Kapoor , Rohit Mahajan, Ram Pal Sharma and Many others were also presnt in this Metting.
