Wind of change blowing across country: Lal Singh

KISHTWAR: Congress candidate from Udhampur-Kathua-Doda constituency and former MP, Ch Lal Singh while hitting hard on the BJP leadership, said that the wind of change is blowing all across the country because of the apathetic and dictatorial attitude of its leadership.

Addressing public meetings at Kishtwar, Drabshalla, Kashtigarh, Dessa, Marmat area, former MP said that common man has realized that they have been exploited by the present regime in the last ten years and today there is no one to listen to the grievances and are being victimized under different pretext like Property tax, Toll tax, GST, Labour tax etc.

Singh said youth is the worst sufferer in the present era and facing unemployment as the government is more keen in privatization and appeasing few blue-eyed Industrialists . “Have you heard any advertisement for the posts of teachers and Rehber- e-Taleem where the rural youth used to be benefitted in the last ten years,” asked Ch. Lal Singh.

Congress leader attacked the present regime for its alleged step motherly treatment to the local employees and sheer nepotism where only blue-eyed are being given lucrative positions at the cost of the local potential.

“If voted to power, I assure that the local youth will be given first preference in every company engaged in the different projects in our state. My preference shall always be my own people and will fight for your genuine demands including daily wagers, SPOs, casual workers of PHE and NYCs,” Lal Singh said.

Senior NC leader Sajjad Kitchloo, Naresh Gupta (ex-MLC) and several Congress leaders addressed the gathering.
