The Prime Minister was speaking at a public gathering in Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh, following the announcement of development projects valued at Rs 55,600 crore in the area. In terms of trade, tourism, and other ties, India's Northeast is expected to emerge as a key player with South and East Asia.
