Thanna Mandi/Rajouri, August 17: Carrying the powerful message of patriotism, national unity, respect for the Tricolour and dedication towards the nation, the National Anti Terrorist Front (NATF) organised a grand two-day Tiranga Rally.
The historic rally started from Jammu and travelled through Sunderbani, Nowshera, Rajouri and Thanna Mandi, finally reaching Sharda Sharif, where the two-day programme concluded with the National Anthem.
The rally was led by NATF National Chairman Vishal Chopra, while the entire programme was organised under the leadership of Pir Panjal President Janab Arshad Nawaz Khan.
The NATF national team, state body and various district-level representatives received a warm and enthusiastic welcome from the people at different locations. The first grand welcome was accorded at Sunderbani, followed by a warm reception at Nowshera and then at Rajouri.
Tribute to the Brave Martyrs at Balidan Stambh
In Rajouri, a solemn tribute ceremony was organised at the Balidan Stambh, where NATF leaders and members paid heartfelt homage to the brave soldiers and martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the defence of the nation.
With the Tricolour held high and patriotic slogans echoing through the area, the rally proceeded from the Balidan Stambh towards Thanna Mandi, carrying the message of sacrifice, patriotism and national unity.
Thanna Mandi Witnesses a Grand Welcome and Brotherhood
On reaching Thanna Mandi, the NATF national team and state body received an overwhelming welcome from local residents. A special programme was organised at Royal Furniture House, Thanna Mandi, where prominent citizens, youth and members of the public participated with great enthusiasm.
Those present included NATF National Chairman Vishal Chopra, National Media Advisor Abhishek Kapoor, National Joint Secretary Anshuman Chopra, National Executive Member Nigam Chopra, Chief Spokesperson Harish Raina, State Secretary Rabia Khajuria, State Joint Secretary Baldeep Kour, Rajouri President Sanjeev Manghu, Rajouri Working President Anshuman Chopra, Rajouri Youth President Himanshu, Sunderbani President Sanjay Sharma, Nowshera General Secretary Balkrishan Sharma, Tarun Khajuria and many others.
The dignitaries and NATF representatives were honoured with garlands and traditional shawls as a mark of respect and appreciation.
Prominent citizens of the area, including district vice president pir panchal Mumtaz hussain Khan , district Secretary pir panchal shaafat Ali , Ab Gani Shah Sahib, Maqbool Raina, Javaid Khan, Sabri, Maneer Khan, Shakeel Khan, Zahid Khan and Kamlak, were also present during the programme.
Arshad Nawaz Khan Gives the Message of “Nation First”
The programme was formally conducted by Pir Panjal President Arshad Nawaz Khan, who began the proceedings with Vande Mataram.
Addressing the gathering, Arshad Nawaz Khan delivered a strong message of national unity and brotherhood, stating that the greatest strength of India lies in its unity and diversity.
He emphasised the message: “We are all Indians, and the nation comes first.”
He said that the Tricolour is not merely a flag but a symbol of the honour, pride and glory of India. He called upon people from every section of society to come together to strengthen national unity, brotherhood and the integrity of the country.
Arshad Nawaz Khan also expressed gratitude to the people of Thanna Mandi for their overwhelming love, support and hospitality towards the NATF team.
Vishal Chopra: “Nation Above Everything”
Addressing the gathering, NATF National Chairman Vishal Chopra said that the Tricolour represents national pride and has the power to unite millions of Indians under one identity.
He stated that “Our first identity is that of an Indian, and nothing can be greater than the national interest.”
Vishal Chopra said that the objective of the NATF Tiranga Rally was not to create any division but to strengthen the spirit of national unity, integrity, brotherhood and patriotism across the region.
Paying tribute to the martyrs at Balidan Stambh, he said that the sacrifices of the brave soldiers who laid down their lives for the nation can never be forgotten.
He appreciated the people of Thanna Mandi for their tremendous enthusiasm and said that the brotherhood witnessed during the programme was a powerful example of how the Tricolour can unite people beyond all differences.
Around 100 People Join NATF at Thanna Mandi
One of the major highlights of the programme was the joining of around 100 local people into the NATF organisation.
The new members expressed their commitment towards the ideals of national unity, patriotism and service to the nation.
Those who joined included Israr Ahmed, Shafeeq, Maqbool, Salman, Javaid, Imran, Shanty, Shakeel, Javaid Dar, Qayoom, Noman, Awais, Aslam, Asif Qasim, Shahzad Khan, Tariq, Sajid, Amjed, Rahil Abbas and Shakoor, along with many others.
The newly joined members pledged to work towards strengthening national unity, respecting the Tricolour and placing the interests of the nation above all else.
Grand Conclusion at Sharda Sharif
After the grand programme at Thanna Mandi, the Tiranga Rally continued towards Sharda Sharif, where the two-day journey concluded with a strong message of patriotism and unity.
The programme concluded with the National Anthem, paying respect to the nation and the Tricolour.
The two-day NATF Tiranga Rally, travelling from Jammu to Sunderbani, Nowshera, Rajouri, Thanna Mandi and Sharda Sharif, created a strong wave of patriotism and national unity across the Pir Panjal region.
The rally conveyed a clear message to the people:
“Nation First — India Above All.”
It also highlighted the spirit of unity, brotherhood, respect for the Tricolour and remembrance of the brave martyrs who made the supreme sacrifice for the country.
