Dharmarth Trust inaugurates modernized kitchen with state-of-art facilities at Shri Raghunathji Temple

JAMMU: Ranvijay Singh and Martand Singh, Trustees of the J&K Dharmarth Trust, today unveiled the modernized kitchen at the iconic Shri Raghunathji Temple, Jammu. This inauguration signals a commitment to enhance the preparation of Bhog offerings for the deities within the temple complex. The ceremony, graced by esteemed dignitaries including Brig R.S Langeh (Retd), President of the Trust, Ashok Kumar Sharma (SSP Retd), Secretary, Varinder Singh Jamwal, Additional Secretary, as well as Pujaries and staff members of Dharmarth Trust. The Trustees said that the upgraded kitchen at Shri Raghunathji Temple stands as a testament to the dedication of the J&K Dharmarth Trust in preserving and enhancing the sacred traditions of this revered institution. Expressing profound satisfaction, Ranvijay Singh, a Trustee, emphasized, “As custodians of this sacred heritage, it is our duty to ensure that the Shri Raghunathji Temple continues to serve as a beacon of spiritual solace and cultural enrichment for devotees.” Martand Singh, a Trustee, highlighted the significance of the upgraded kitchen, stating, “The inauguration of the upgraded kitchen represents a significant step forward in our ongoing efforts to enhance the infrastructure of the Shri Raghunathji Temple. We remain steadfast in our commitment to upholding the sacred legacy of this revered institution.” Brig R.S Langeh (Retd), President of the Trust, underscored the sanctity of the kitchen in the temple complex, revealing that a total of 31 Bhog Thalis are prepared every noon on a daily basis. He emphasized the meticulous adherence to Satvik food preparation practices by the cooks and the necessity of modernizing the vintage kitchen. The refurbished kitchen now boasts modern gadgets, a state-of-the-art modular setup, deep-freezers, and added storage facilities.
