NEW DELHI, Jun 4 : The number of coronavirus infections in India has increased by 202, while the number of active cases has fallen from 3,502 to 3,343 as of Sunday, based on information provided by the Union Health Ministry. The numbers updated at 8 am showed that the death toll rose to 5,31,880 after two deaths.
The total for the Covid case was 4.49 crore (4,49,91,582).
According to the health ministry website, the national COVID-19 recovery rate has been recorded at 98.81 percent, and the active cases currently make up 0.01 percent of all infections.4,44, 56,359 people have recovered from the illness, bringing the case mortality rate down to 1.18 percent.
According to the ministry’s website, as part of the ongoing national vaccination programme, 220.66 crore doses of the Covid vaccine have already been administered to the nation.
