JAMMU: In the national championship that was held in New Delhi, Indian shooter Chain Singh took home three gold medals. At the 66th National Shooting Championship in New Delhi, he took home three gold medals. He also set a new 50-meter rifle prone national record. Chain Singh is a native of Jammu and Kashmir’s Doda district. He won the gold medal in the individual division of the 7th Asian Airgun Championship in Kuwait, the bronze medal in the men’s 50-meter rifle three positions event at the 2014 Asian Games, and six gold medals in total—three in individual and three in team events—at the 2016 South Asian Games. In 2007, Chain Singh received his gun training in the Indian Army.
