BHOPAL: Rajnath Singhthe minister of defencestated on Saturday that India has the authority to exterminate anyone attempting to carry out any evil deed, both on this side of the border and, if needed, on the other. Singh was speaking during rally at Khaneta village, which falls under the Gohad assembly seat in the Bhind district, in support of BJP candidate Lal Singh Arya. “Pride in India is growing rapidly worldwide. Foreign observers would describe India as weak nation during the Congress administration. The minister remarked, “The world did not take our words very seriously.” He stated that the times have changed and that everyone pays attention to India’s statements made in international fora. “Your India is not weak nation right now.India cannot be threatened by any nation in the globe,” he declared. “If someone tries to carry out any nefarious act, India can eliminate them on this side of the border, and if necessary, it can strike them on the other side of the border as well,” Singh stated. He went on to say that he wished to welcome the one family out of every five in the Bhind district that had a member in the Army. The defence minister praised the efforts of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, pointing out that Madhya Pradesh was once a BIMARU (laggard) state. However, the populace of the nation is now claiming that one must travel to Madhya Pradesh if one wants to witness growth. It is the nation’s cleanest state,” he declared. According to the minister, Madhya Pradesh’s per capita income climbed tenfold to over Rs 1.40 lakh in 2023 from just Rs 11,718 in 2001–02. He asserted that Madhya Pradesh’s growth rate exceeds India’s GDP average. According to him, Madhya Pradesh is the only state in which farmers receive an additional Rs 6,000 annually from the government’s purse on top of the same amount distributed under the Pradhan Mantri Samman Nidhi. Later in the day, Singh will speak at two additional rallies in the Bhind district. On November 17, Madhya Pradesh’s 230 assembly seats will go to polls.
