New Delhi, Oct 31: Virat Kohli, an Indian batsman who is about to tie Sachin Tendulkar’s record of 49 hundreds in one-day international cricket, has said that he never imagined amassing so many hundreds in just the past 12 years.During the current ODI World CupKohli has been outstanding, amassing 354 runs in six games, including century (his 48th) against Bangladesh in Pune. But after being removed for duck during the match against England on Sunday, Kohli added unwelcome statistics to his ODI World Cup career. It was the first time in the tournament’s history.
