BHADERWAH: Former Member Parliament and Congress candidate from Udhampur-Doda constituency Ch Lal Singh has alleged that proxy government of BJP is working in UT of Jammu and Kashmir. Addressing a large political rally at Bhaderwah in district Doda, Ch Lal Singh alleged that only communal politics BJP and its proxy Government is working in the Jammu and Kashmir. “From the day one of my politics, I have consistently advocated for the people of Bhaderwah, regardless of the Government in power. I have fought the battle alone in the parliament against my own Government for the welfare of the people, ” he said. Lal Singh lambasted the proxy Government of the J&K for its failure to address the power crisis faced by J&K, especially during extreme winters and summers. Accusing the present representative and proxy Government of BJP in J&K, Ch Lal Singh said, that for the last 10 years the BJP leaders in the power did not care for the development of the remote villages of Bhaderwah and never listened to the plight of the poor people. He also cautioned the people of entire J&K to remain vigilant about the nefarious designs of the politics of the BJP, where there is only hatred and communal designs. He said the BJP leaders never discusses the issues of daily wagers of J&K, poor condition of the roads, power crisis, sidelining of the employees and other issues of poor people of J&K, instead they are discussing the landing of Chandrayan on the moon. “That was the darkest day in the history of J&K when BJP snatched our identity, tried to erase our rich and unique heritage by abrogating Article 370. If Article 370 was the root cause of problems here then why does similar law in the form 371 exists in 12 states of India,” Lal Singh asserted. Launching scathing attack on BJP and LG Administration, Congress leader said Saffron leaders have snatched our land, our jobs and are hell bent to make us beg. People raised the issue but nobody listens to the public cries under BJP regime. Public feels helpless under Modi rule, he added. JKPCC chief Vikar Rasool while speaking on the occasion sought public support for the Congress candidate Ch Lal Singh. He said that public has made up its mind to bring change in the political horizon of the country.
