Itanagar, Mar 9: On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that the Congress would have needed twenty years to complete the work that his government had completed in the Northeast over the past five years. The Prime Minister was speaking at a public gathering in Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh, following the announcement of development projects valued at Rs 55,600 crore in the area. In terms of trade, tourism, and other ties, India’s Northeast is expected to emerge as a key player with South and East Asia. Here, initiatives valued at more than Rs 55,000 crore have been announced today,” he stated.“It would have taken Congress twenty years to accomplish what we have in the Northeast over the last five years,” he continued. The prime minister stated that if he travels to Arunachal Pradesh, it will be evident what “Modi’s guarantee” is. “Everyone in the Northeast is observing how well Modi’s assurance is performing,” he remarked. The prime minister added that he was being attacked by leaders of the opposition INDIA as he was trying to advance the nation.
