JAMMU: Today, a meeting was presided over by Divisional Commissioner Jammu Ramesh Kumar to assess the status of the Delhi Amritsar Katra Motorway construction. The Div Com instructed the NHAI officials to work with the District Administrations to promptly resolve any concerns that may be impeding the Expressway’s construction. He also requested that they make sure the route is regularly maintained to allow for easy traffic flow. The Div Com instructed BSNL staff to provide mobile tower coverage to the shadow areas and issued directives regarding rural connectivity. Attending the conference were Deputy Commissioners from Samba, Kathua, Kishtwar, Ramban, and representatives from NHAI and BSNL.
