JAMMU: Anand Jain, the Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) for Jammu and Kashmir, reviewed the ongoing construction at the Drug De-Addiction Centre in Channi Himmat in detail on Wednesday. ADGP Jain evaluated the project’s current state and expressed a strong desire to accelerate it. He underlined how crucial it is to finish the facility as soon as possible in order to successfully handle the urgent problem of drug addiction. Jain directed the relevant authorities to speed the construction process and guarantee that all resources are provided in a timely manner by issuing clear and firm directions.He emphasised the need for prompt completion and the center’s critical role in offering recovery assistance to those who are abusing substances. The ADGP said that the opening of this centre is consistent with their main objective of building a community that is safer and healthier.
