2 Brothers Held For Robbing Man After Posing As Policemen In Samba

Samba/Jammu, Feb 11: In the Samba area of Jammu and Kashmir, two brothers were taken into custody for allegedly robbing and wounding guy while impersonating as police officers, senior police officer said on Sunday. According to Samba SSP Vinay Kumar Sharma, the man was stopped by the accused Bachan Lal and Lovely Kumar, who live in Smailpur, and they requested him to go with them to police station in the Bari Brahmana region so they could conduct “investigation” into case. He claimed that after being robbed, the perpetrators left the area and attacked him with sharp-edged weapons, raising doubts about their true identities in the victim’s mind.Within three hours of the incident, the police detained the accused and confiscated two knives, one Army and one police jacket, and police cap that were purportedly used in the crimethe officer stated. According to him, the detained suspects are devoted criminals, and it is being looked into whether or not they were previously involved in any other incidents of this nature. According to the officer, police have filed case under the pertinent laws and are currently conducting additional investigation.
