SRINAGAR, Feb 3: According to a forecast from the MeT department, Jammu and Kashmir can see mild to moderate snow or rain over the course of the next 48 hours. The Valley’s nighttime low was still several degrees below zero. The minimum temperature on Saturday was – 1.7 degrees Celsius in Srinagar, minus 10.6 degrees Celsius in Gulmarg, and minus 8.3 degrees Celsius in Pahalgam. The lowest temperature was recorded at minus 8.7 degrees Celsius in Leh town, in the Ladakh region, and minus 12.2 degrees Celsius in Kargil. The lowest temperature of the night was 7.8 degrees Celsius in Jammu city, 6 degrees Celsius in Katra, 0.3 degrees Celsius in Batote, – 0.5 degrees Celsius in Bhaderwah, and negative 0.8 degrees Celsius in Banihal.
