NIA conducts raids in Jammu’s Bathindi ,Sopore Police nabs 2 OGWS

JAMMU: Raids were conducted by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) in Jammu’s Bathindi. At the time this news was filed, there was, however, no official statement regarding whether the raids were related to an ongoing inquiry. In the meantime, two OGWS (Over Ground Workers) of the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), a terrorist organisation with its stronghold in Pakistan, were detained by the Sopore Police in Jammu and Kashmir. Cartridges and grenades were also found in the terror associates’ possession after their arrest. The Sopore Police said on Friday that a FIR had been filed in relation to the arrests and that an investigation was ongoing.
