RAMBAN: According to JKPCC president Vikar Rasool Wani, the Congress has always supported secularism and national unity, and those who sow discord are the nation's worst enemies, whom the populace needs to expose. Speaking at a public gathering at Ramban, the president of PCC stated that while Congress has never wavered from its core secular principles, some parties use religious divisiveness and division to win over votes. These parties threaten society's secular fabric and do enormous harm to the country. People need to recognise these parties' and their leaders' schemes and avoid being taken advantage of. The conflict is between the diametrically opposed philosophies of the BJP, which sows division in society, and the Congress, which advocates for unity.People need to pick between two options, but it's more crucial to identify the leaders and parties that advocate for something different while covertly working to undermine the Congress and support the BJP-RSS. He made the point that the current administration's administrative inertia is the reason why people living in remote areas are currently experiencing severe crises, and he added that the administration has no idea what issues these people are facing. He insisted that all remaining roads be upgraded and given black topping because the majority of them were in poor condition, which had a negative influence on mobility and increased the suffering of the residents of these isolated villages. While drawing attention to the issues in the area, he bemoaned the state of the roads, the inconsistent power supply in remote areas, the absence of medical facilities in their villages, and the demand for constant electricity supply in their individual villages. Senior leader Raman Bhalla claimed that the BJP government and the UT administration take advantage of photo ops like "Back to Village-5," where the populace is angry at the bureaucrats. In addition to peace, prosperity, and harmony, he said, Jammu and Kashmir needed democracy restored as soon as possible, and this could only happen if the Congress party gained more power. He asked party cadres in particular as well as the general public to band together against the forces that have divided and destroyed our state of Dogra. Ashok Kumar, a former MLA, claimed that the BJP and its supporters have been spreading false narratives to divert people's attention from important issues. Their efforts have all been in vain. The BJP and others like it are frustrated because of this in J&K. The BJP is trying to win the elections by bringing in outside voters because it is in a precarious position," he continued. Previously, Wani and Raman Bhalla organised a sizable public march through bazaars to draw attention to social issues and to chant anti-BJP slogans. Additionally, they opened a new DCC office.
