Shrine Board seeks police inquiry into viral video

JAMMU: Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board had lodged a police complaint against purported uploading a video on social media platforms and news portals, in which the pilgrims are alleging black marketing of battery car ticket. In the complaint, forwarded to SP Katra, Joint Chief Executive Officer of the Shrine Board, Satish Kumar Sharma has sought necessary inquiry into the matter, including identification of persons responsible for shooting /uploading of the video so that actual design behind this is unearthed and the culprits are booked accordingly. “Examination of the CCTV footage available within office and digital booking/payment records clearly demonstrate that this is an act of sabotage with the malafide intent to hurt the sentiments of the pilgrims and maligning the image of the Shrine Board,” reads the complaint.
