JAMMU: On the outskirts of Jammu, the Special Investigation Agency (SIA) reportedly conducted a search on a former terrorist associate’s home on Tuesday. Early in the morning, the Jammu and Kashmir Police’s counter-insurgency division conducted a search of Mohd Iqbal’s home in the Peer Bagh neighbourhood of Sunjwan and seized a mobile and two SIM cards for analysis, according to police. According to the authorities, Iqbal was formerly a resident of the village of Khor in the Mahore Tehsil in the Reasi district and the operation was carried out under the assumption that he still has ties to terrorists.
