NEW DELHI: At the BJP Parliamentary Party meeting on Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi received a standing ovation in response to the party's incredible victory in three assembly elections. At the inaugural meeting of the BJP Parliamentary Party in the Winter Session of Parliament, senior leaders, including BJP president J P Nadda, congratulated Modi. Party MPs raised slogans praising his leadership. In the assembly elections held in the three states of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Rajasthan, the BJP soundly defeated the Congress. Its significant victory has been attributed primarily to Modi's leadership. In Telangana, where the BJP's vote share and total increased, the Congress ousted the BRS. Every week during sessions, the entire membership of the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha makes up the BJP Parliamentary Party. Its leaders, including Modi, speak at the meetings on various topics related to the Parliamentary agenda as well as its organisational and political campaigns. Arms, ammunition recovered in Rajouri

RAJOURI: According to officials, security forces found weapons and ammunition on Wednesday in the Budhal area of Rajouri district, following the revelations of two terror operatives. "On Wednesday, a joint search operation was conducted in the Behrote area of Budhal by a special operations group that included Rajouri police and 33 RR. After being detained on December 3 and 4, terror suspects Mohammad Farooq and Mohammad Nazri were brought to the suspected location, where security personnel found some weapons and ammunition, according to the statement. Among the items found in the seizures were a handgun, two magazines, thirty rounds, two hand grenades, a raincoat, a pistol pouch and a few medications. RAJOURI/JAMMU, Dec 6: On Wednesday, a bus overturned in the Jammu and Kashmir district of Rajouri, injuring 22 people, including 14 students, and killing one passenger, according to officials. Srinagar among many places record coldest night of season

SRINAGAR: While Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, recorded the coldest night of the season at minus 2.0 degrees Celsius, the minimum temperature in Kashmir has further dropped. According to the information at hand, Kashmir's nighttime temperature has continued to drop. The coldest night of the season was recorded in several locations in Kashmir, including Srinagar, Qazigund, Ganderbal, Pahalgam, Kupwara, Shopian, Bandipora, and Baramulla. A minimum temperature of minus 2.2 degrees Celsius was recorded in Gulmarg, while minus 2.0 degrees Celsius was recorded in Qazigund. Kupwara in north Kashmir recorded a minimum temperature of minus 2.7 degrees Celsius, while Pahalgam, a well-known tourist destination, recorded a low of minus 5.1 degrees Celsius. Govt Blocks Over 100 Websites For Organised ‘Illegal’ Investments, Task-Based Part-Time Job Frauds

NEW DELHI, Dec 6: Following a recommendation from the Union Home Ministry, over 100 websites that supported task-based part-time job frauds and organised illegal investments were blocked. An official statement claimed that foreign actors were running these websites. Through its vertical National Cybercrime Threat Analytics Unit (NCTAU), the Indian Cybercrime Coordination Centre (I4C), a division of the Union Home Ministry, last week identified and recommended blocking over 100 websites involved in organised investment and task-based part-time job frauds. Following this, the websites have been blocked by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), in accordance with the Information Technology Act of 2000, according to the statement. It was discovered that these websites, which enabled task-based organised illegal investment linked to economic crimes, were run by foreign actors and made use of chat messengers, digital advertisements, mule accounts, and rented accounts. According to the statement, international Fintech companies, card networks, cryptocurrency, and foreign ATM withdrawals were used to launder the proceeds from the large-scale economic frauds out of India. Online fraudster held from Ajmer for cheating Doda Teacher

DODA: An online scammer from Ajmer, Rajasthan was apprehended by police here for defrauding a government teacher in Kastigarh Doda, Rajasthan, out of Rs. 11,67,220. According to the handout, the Doda Police have apprehended the Ajmer-based online scammer who was sought in connection with the FIR number 237/2023 filed at the Doda Police Station for the online deception of a teacher. According to the case, on October 29, 2023, a government teacher named Showket Ali, who lives in Bibrota, Tehsil Kastigarh, filed a written complaint at Police Station Doda. In the complaint, he stated that he met someone on Facebook named Shahrukh Noor Mohd, the son of Noor Mohd, who lives in Jhunjhun, Rajasthan, and who deceived him, taking $11,67,220 from him.In this regard, a Police Station Doda filed a case under relevant sections (FIR number 237/2023), and the Police then activated sources to capture the fraudster. A Police party, led by SI Mohd Shafi and overseen by Jaswant Singh, DySP Hqrs Doda, was then dispatched to Ajmer, where the fraudster was apprehended. The case was still being investigated. The public has been urged by the police to be wary of fraudsters and online cheaters, to avoid answering calls from strangers, and to withhold personal information and one's OTP from strangers they may come into contact with. NEW DELHI: The idea of "one flag, one prime minister, one constitution" is not a political catchphrase, according to Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who stated on Tuesday that the BJP sincerely believes in the idea and has finally put it into practise with regard to Jammu and Kashmir. Shah questioned how a nation could have two prime ministers, two constitutions, and two flags in response to TMC member Saugata Roy's statement in the Lok Sabha that "ek nishan, ek pradhan, ek samvidhan (one flag, one head, one constitution)" was a "political slogan". Roy's comments, in his words, were "objectionable". Shah stated, "Whoever did it was wrong," in response to a statement made by the opposition benches.
