DGP chairs high-level joint security review meeting in Kulgam
KULGAM: According to a press release issued by J&K police on Monday, Director General of Police for Jammu and Kashmir, RR Swain, visited Kulgam, examined the district's security situation, and presided over a high-level meeting of police, army, and CAPF officers. He went on to say that cowardly attacks on defenceless civilians and military personnel show how frustrated terror handlers are with their inability to maintain peace and order in J&K.According to the official statement, the DGP further instructed the officers to keep up the fight against terrorists and those who support them, and to keep a close eye on any suspicious individuals in order to foil their malicious plans to disturb the tranquil atmosphere. The press release also stated that DGP RR Swain gave the officers orders to improve and reinforce the security grids in their respective regions for the general public's safety and security, as well as the protection of vulnerable populations.
