Udhampur, November 05: In a sustained drive against narco-criminals, Udhampur Police has attached another vehicle worth ₹12 lakh belonging to a drug peddler under the provisions of the NDPS Act.
During the investigation of Case FIR No. 114/2025 U/S 8/15/29 NDPS Act of PS Rehambal, it was found that the accused Abdul Wahid S/o Abdul Rashid R/o Garnai, Tehsil & District Udhampur had acquired a vehicle bearing registration number JK14J-9447 from proceeds of narcotic trade.
Accordingly, the said vehicle has been attached under Section 68(F) of the NDPS Act for further legal proceedings.
*It is pertinent to mention that Udhampur Police has attached property worth ₹10.62 Crore in NDPS-related cases during the current year, reaffirming its firm resolve to make Udhampur a Drugs-Free District.
