SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today hit out at BJP over reports that the saffron party is forming ‘shadow cabinet’ to build pressure on the government, stating the BJP has ruled in past, and it is time for elected government to serve people. “There is only one cabinet. In our country there is no provision of shadow cabinet. BJP ruled in past and it is time for elected government to serve people. So there is no need of shadow cabinet. Whatever we have promised to our people, will be addressed and the government is firm on that,” Chief Minister Omar Abdullah told reporters in Srinagar. About Ramadan preparedness, he said the holy month is going to start from tomorrow and it is duty of the government to provide all necessary facilities to people. “A meeting was held today in this connection wherein directions were passed to all line departments regarding supply of adequate electricity during Iftar and Sehri times, water supply, ration, smooth regulation of traffic and better sanitation services,” CM Omar added.
