Shobha Yatra Marks Beginning of Janmashtami Celebrations in Ghagwal

SAMBA : A colourful Shobha Yatra was held today in Ghagwal in advance of the approaching Janmashtami celebration, fostering a sense of community and celebration among the locals. The auspicious Shobha Yatra set out from the revered Shree Narsingh Ji Mandir, meandering through the centre of Ghagwal via Raghu Chack, Lala Chack, Rajpura, Sanoora Randhwal, and Harsath Ghagwal Jatwal, before turning about and returning to the Shree Narsingh Ji Dham by the Hospital path. The Narsingh Dham Ji Committee Ghagwal organised this event in conjunction with the District Administration of Samba and the Directorate of Tourism Jammu. Abhishek Sharma, the District Commissioner for Samba, was also a guest at the Shobha Yatra. He participated in the sacred Pujan and also provided his assurance that everything will be perfect for the upcoming Jansmashtami mela in Ghagwal, guaranteeing the security and comfort of all devotees. The big Janmashtami Celebration, which promises to bring people together and honour the divine with the deepest devotion, was started in motion by the Shobha Yatra, which celebrated the lively cultural legacy and communal spirit of Ghagwal.The honourable participants included the DDC Chairperson Samba, Keshav Dutt Sharma, DDC member Ghagwal, Suresh Kumar, BDC Chairman Ghagwal, Vijay Tagotra, ADC Samba, SDM Ghagwal, Vice President of Vyapar Mandal Ghagwal, Tehsildar Ghagwal, and numerous local Ghaghwal residents whose active participation added to the festive fervour of this wonderful occasion.
