2 Pilots Killed In IAF Trainer Aircraft Accident Near Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Dec 4: According to the authorities, an Indian Air Force trainer plane carrying two officers crashed early on Monday in Telangana’s Medak district. They added that trainer and trainee pilot were inside the aircraft when it crashed, and that the event happened in the Toopran mandal of the region. In the collision, both perished. Rajnath Singhthe minister of defenceexpressed his distress over the occurrence by writing, “Anguished by this accident near Hyderabad.” The deaths of the two pilots are really tragic. My sympathies are with the grieving families during this awful hour.According to senior police official, the aircraft took off from the Air Force Academy (AFA) at Dundigal, which is close by. “One Pilatus PC Mk Il trainer aircraft met with an accident today morning during routine training sortie from AFA, Hyderabad,” the IAF said earlier in statement. “The lAF confirms with great regret that both of the pilots on board suffered tragic injuries.There have been no reports of property or civil life damage. The reason of the accident has to be determined by Court of Inquiry, it continued.
