JAMMU: Sheetal Devi jumped up two spots to take the top spot in the para world archery rankings for the women’s compound open category after winning two gold medals at the Para Asian Games. Rakesh Kumar, who won three gold medals at the just finished Para Asian Championship, has also seen improvement, rising two spots to take third place internationally. He is ranked lower than Matteo Bonacina of Italy and Nathan Macqueen of Great Britain. Sarita, another Indian para-archer, advanced significantly in the standings after winning a bronze medal at the Bangkok Asian Championships. In the most recent update, she moved up seven spots to claim the sixth spot, which is a significant improvement in her global ranking.
