Police Attaches Property Of Drug Peddler Under NDPS Act In Kulgam

SRINAGAR, Feb 6: In the Kulgam area of Jammu and Kashmir, police on Tuesday used the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act to seize the belongings of well-known drug dealer. According to police, under Section 68-F of the NDPS Act 1985, well-known drug dealer from Sopat Devsar named Khursheed Ahmad Bhat’s two-story home was attached. Bhat is being held at Kote-Bhalwal Jammu in accordance with the PIT-NDPS Act. The alleged drug dealer is connected to other NDPS cases involving the Devsar police station.
During the police investigation and inquiry, the property was determined to have been obtained illegally. The drug dealer initially obtained the property through the illegal trafficking of both psychotropic and narcotic narcotics.
