JAMMU: An attempt at infiltration was foiled early on Saturday by security personnel manning the International Border (IB), killing one terrorist, according to officials. According to the officials, the operation began in the early hours of the morning when they saw four heavily armed terrorists trying to enter this side from across the IB in the Khour sector of Akhnoor. One of the infiltrating terrorists was reportedly hit and fell to the ground by the troops’ effective fire. But according to the officials, the deceased’s body was dragged back across the IB by his friends.
