Jammu-Srinagar highway to remain closed for repair work on 24, 25 Nov

RAMBAN: According to an official today, traffic will be suspended on November 24 and 25 in order to complete construction work on the national highway connecting Jammu and Srinagar. According to spokesman for the traffic department on Thursday, the administration has mandated the traffic suspension in order to ensure the safety of drivers on the highway. “The District Magistrate Rambanby order no., has directed NHAI to ensure the safety of the general public, travellers, and drivers.Traffic between Nashri and the NAVYUG Tunnel will be suspended tomorrow, Friday, November 24, 2023, (intervening night of 23/24) from 0000 hours to 0400 hours, and Saturday, November 25, 2023, (intervening night of 24/25 from 0000 hours to 0400 hours), due to ADMR/1508-18 dated 22-11-2023 for the launching of the girders at Nashri viaduct-1 (Nasful to Lucky Dhaba stretch), fixing of Jet fans at Perrah, and Tunnel T5.
