SRINAGAR, Jan 30: In response to snowfall in the valley’s upper reaches, officials in Jammu and Kashmir’s Ganderbal district issued an avalanche warning on Tuesday, according to officials. The residents of the central Kashmir district have been issued an avalanche warning with a low hazard level, they said. “During the next 24 hours, an avalanche with a low danger level is anticipated above 2,800 metres over Ganderbal,” the officials stated. According to them, people have been told to exercise caution and stay away from avalanche-prone locations until additional directives are given.
