Ayodhya, Jan 22: In the midst of lavish celebrations in the town on Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in the rites that dedicated the new Ram Lalla statue at the recently built temple here. The prime minister entered the temple grounds while wearing a red dupatta that had been folded and a silver "chattar," or umbrella. He took "sankalp" for the "pran pratishtha ceremony," wearing a golden kurta with a cream dhoti and patka, and then proceeded to the sanctum sanctorum for the rites. During the ceremonies, the chief minister Yogi Adityanath, governor of Uttar Pradesh Anandiben Patel, and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat were also present inside the sanctorum.When the temple was dedicated, petals from flowers were dropped onto the grounds by army helicopters. Everyone would be moved by the amazing occasion of Shri Ram Lala's life being dedicated in Ayodhya Dham. It gives me enormous joy to be involved in this magnificent programme. Modi exclaimed, "Hail Siya Ram!" on X. After the event, Modi will speak to the crowd. He has a scheduled visitation to the Kuber Tila as well. Youth Charred To Death In Fire Incident At Baramulla

SRINAGAR, Jan 22: In the Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir, a fire event resulted in the destruction of two residential dwellings and the death of a 26-year-old youth, according to officials on Monday. According to a fire and emergency services official, at approximately 2:30 in the morning, a fire started in a residential home in Khamberyar Pattan and spread to another house, severely damaging the surrounding land. He stated that a burnt body, identified as 26-year-old Adil Ahmed Dar, son of Muhammad Ramzan Dar, was found while clearing the rubble. In the interim, the police have opened a case and initiated additional inquiries in this respect. An electric short circuit is thought to have started the fire. MUMBAI: Prior to Jammu & Kashmir Farooq Abdullah, a member of parliament (MP) and chief minister, questioned whether Lord Ram is limited to a single temple and is only associated with Hindus on Sunday regarding the Pran Pratishtha ritual at the Ram temple in Ayodhya. Speaking at an event celebrating the birth anniversary of Madhu Dandavate, Abdullah voiced his worry that Hindus, who make up seventy percent of India's population, are being led to feel as though they are in danger. Is Ram the god of the BJP, the RSS, and just Hindus? Is Ram found exclusively in Ayodhya? And do you need an invitation to go there? All people belong to Lord Ram. Everywhere you look, particularly in Jammu and Kashmir, you may find Ram temples.We are unable to acknowledge Lord Ram, even though he is present in every particle of our hearts," he remarked. The J-K CM went on to say that there wouldn't have been hostility if people had acknowledged Lord Ram. "Hatred would not have existed if we had recognised. DM Jammu reviews digitisation of Jamabandis

JAMMU: During a meeting with Revenue Department authorities held here today, District Magistrate Sachin Kumar Vaishya reviewed the status of digitising Jamabandis, the textual records of land ownership. The process for completing, freezing, and digitising the Jamabandis of every hamlet in the area was the main topic of discussion during the conference. The meeting was informed that, starting on January 23, the revised Jamabandis of every village would be gradually made public. The DM also urged the officers to publicise widely the advantages that the digitalized Jamabandis will offer the populace. It was reported that 908 Jamabandis in all had undergone extensive quality tests during the digitization process.The revenue officials' efforts to finish the assignment were acknowledged by the DM. The DM gave the Tehsildars instructions to visit fields, use their Magisterial authority as best they could, and promptly address public complaints. Along with directing the Rural Development Department to implement MGNREGA, he also directed all responsible personnel to meet the program's man-day target and make sure payments are paid on time. ADC Ansuya Jamwal, ADC Shishir Gupta, ACR Piyush Dhotra, ACD Preeti Sharma, SDMs, Tehsildars, and other relevant revenue department personnel attended the meeting.
