Devotees continue to throng Ram Mandir in Ayodhya on third day after Pran Pratishtha ceremony
AYODHYA: Three days following the 'Pran Pratishtha' event, people still flocked to the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya on Thursday morning, despite the fog and cold. "We had been waiting for years and got an opportunity today to have the darshan of Ram Lalla," Priyaram, a devotee from Bengaluru, Karnataka, said. I'm at a loss for words. I'm really sensitive right now. At 2:00 am, I arrived here." Siddhalingeshwar, a Bengaluru-based devotee, added, "I am overjoyed...We're looking forward to the darshan. I express my gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath." Another devotee, Satyanarayana, remarked, "This was a 500-year wait."We are ecstatic and deeply moved. We don't have any issues because the administration has put in place sensible measures." Praveen Kumar, the IG Range Ayodhya, went into detail about the plans put in place for efficient crowd control. "Today is Paush Poornima, a holiday where people first take a sacred dip. People are walking in from the surrounding districts. There are two lines, each a km long. All personal items must be stored in the Public Facilitation Centre (PFC). There are installed baggage scanners. Additionally, there is a real frisking facility." Praveen Kumar, the IG Range Ayodhya, outlined the steps taken to guarantee the protection and safety of pilgrims."The public transit system has been enhanced to ensure outsiders travel safely. We make sure the area is secure all the time. Arriving devotees are receiving darshan in a disciplined manner. People are enthusiastic, but everything is planned out. Following the directives of Honourable Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the police and administration are operating effectively." "We appeal to people to bring fewer belongings to save time." On Monday, Ram Lalla's Pran Pratishtha took place at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. After the one-hour rites, Prime Minister Narendra Modi presided over the Pran Pratishtha ceremony, where the Ram Lalla idol was unveiled. Approximately 8,000 people were invited to the event, of which 1,500–1,600 were distinguished guests. With earthen lamps, or diyas, lighting up on a gigantic scale and crackers going up and dazzling the night sky in various areas of the city, the 'Ram Nagri' Ayodhya also attracted attention from around the world.
