DODA: J&K Police here today arrested an absconder evading arrest for the last eight years. As per Police sources the absconder Vishal Singh, son of Swami Raj, resident of Malhota in Tehsil Thathri of Doda was wanted in a case of FIR number 57/2017 under Sections 279/337/338/304A RPC registered against him at Police Station Doda. He was declared as absconder by the Court of law and warrant of arrest under section 512 Cr.P.C was issued against him but he was evading arrest since 2017. To arrest him, a special team of cops was formed which was headed by PSI Rohit of Police Station Doda under the guidance of SHO Police Station Doda Inspector Padam Dev Singh and Dy. SP Hqrs Doda, Ajay Anand and under the overall supervision of Javaid Iqbal, SSP Doda. The special team finally arrested him from Thathri and he shall now be produced before the Court.
