Minor Boy’s Body Recovered Six Days After He Slipped Into Stream In J&K’s Pulwama

SRINAGAR, May 1: Body of a minor boy, who had gone missing after slipping into a stream earlier this week in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district, was recovered on Friday, officials said.
Mohammad Hanzala (4), a resident of Tiken village, had accidentally slipped into the fast-flowing Rambiara stream and was swept away by strong currents near Dubjan Bridge on Sunday, they said.
A rescue operation was launched but the boy could not be traced.
The body was recovered on the sixth day of the search operation in Shopian district, officials said.
