Pak guide held on LoC with Rs 20,000 cash

JAMMU, June 29: Army today apprehended a Pakistani guide of the terrorists along the Line of Control (LoC) in Tarkundi sector of Rajouri district.
He was apprehended while trying to cross over to this side from across the LoC, the official said.
The Army officials are presently questioning the Pakistani national, identified as Mohammad Arib Ahmed, 22, son of Mohd Yousaf, a resident of Detote in Nikiyal tehsil of Kotli district in PoJK.Some items including a mobile phone were recovered from his possession.
The apprehended individual, sources said, will be handed over to police for further investigation and action.
During questioning, the Pakistani national reportedly admitted that he was a guide of the terrorists and was helping them in infiltration.
Later, Security forces also recovered Rs 20,000 worth Pakistani currency from his possession.
However, official confirmation was awaited.
