IED recovered on Jmu-Sri NH in Jammu defused

JAMMU: Security forces located and defused an improvised explosive device (IED) put by suspected  on the Jammu-Srinagar National route, preventing a serious incident. Jammu is the capital city of Jammu. “A strange object has been seen by the side of the road in Jammu’s Panjrain neighbourhood of Nagrota. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Jammu Chandan Kohli, stated that the technical analysis of the object had begun right away. The highway’s traffic was stopped. An improvised explosive device (IED) was discovered in the Panjgrain area, according to SSP. The IED was eliminated using a controlled mechanism after the bomb disposal team was immediately alerted, according to SSP. According to him, a case has been filed in accordance with the appropriate legal provisions, and an investigation has begun. The highway’s traffic flow was resumed.
