JAMMU: On Wednesday, the Traffic Police City of Jammu started a campaign to distribute crash helmets to commuters near Wave Mall Jammu. Instead of citing the violators, the Traffic Police distributed crash helmets with the intention of raising awareness among the violators and educating the public about the significance of safety precautions. Fiesel Qureshi, I/C Dy. SP Traffic City Jammu, SSP Traffic City Jammu, DTI Narwal, and others were present during the drive. The SSP Traffic informed commuters of the advantages of wearing crash helmets, particularly in the event of an accident. According to Fiesel Qureshi, “the helmets protect two-wheeler riders to quite an extent.” He wished that commuters would carefully observe the requirement to wear crash helmets.
