NEW DELHI : According to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, India won’t be completely successful until women have equal rights in society.
Gandhi added that women must occupy their proper place in politics and influence India’s future.
The former head of the Congress Party also tweeted a link for the Indira Fellowship, which was established in honour of the late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
The Indian Youth Congress, the Indian National Congress’ frontal youth section, launched the Indira Fellowship. For the purpose of further organising the “Indira Activity Centre,” the fellow will collaborate closely with her assigned district. Along with democratic engagement, she will work in three key areas: awareness, sisterhood, and nation-building.
“Only until women have an equal place in our society will India be genuinely successful. The Indira Fellowship aims to change politics while empowering women. They must assume their proper position in politics and influence India’s future. I say, “Aadhi Aabadi, Poora Haq!” Gandhi stated on X, the previous name for Twitter.
