JAMMU, June 9: In a significant milestone, Dr Jitendra Singh will today be inducted as Union Minister for third consecutive term in the Narendra Modi led Government. Dr Jitendra has etched his name in the history by becoming the first Dogra politician to achieve a hat-trick as Union Minister.
Previously, Dr Karan Singh held office for two consecutive terms from 1967 to 1977 before returning to serve as a Minister for the third time in the Charan Singh Government after a three-year break from Congress.
