REASI: official and local sources said that the Five shops were damaged in a fire incident in Mahore area of Reasi district on Friday. Around 7:30 in the morning, a fire broke out in Mahore’s main market. Before police, villagers, and the Army’s 58 RR could put it out, the blaze had badly damaged five shops—three of them. Although there was no official estimate available at the time this story was made, it is reported that goods worth millions of rupees were damaged in the fire. A short circuit is thought to be the cause of the incident, but a police spokesperson indicated that investigations have begun to corroborate this.Locals protested the absence of a fire station in the entire Mahore subdivision at the same time, calling on the government to build at least one to stop future loss of life and property due to fire occurrences.
