SRINAGAR, Jun 5 : On Monday, A tourist from Tamil Nadu died after a tree fell on him during horse riding at a resort in J&K, officials said. Janarthanam (67) has been identified as the victim, according to the authorities.
The victim was struck by a tree that fell from the Baisaran trail near Hill Park in Pahalgam as a result of severe winds, according to the officials. They said that the horse and rider both passed away instantly. They said that the event is being investigated.
