KISHTWAR : A tree collapsed on a family’s tent in the Keshwan area of Jammu and Kashmir’s Kishtwar district on Thursday morning, killing four family members, three of them were women.An official said that one large pine fell on a tent in the Bhalna area of the Keshwan forest area, 50 kilometres from Kishtwar town, as a result of yesterday’s heavy rains and last night’s strong winds. According to reports, the nomadic Bakerwal family was migrating seasonally towards Dachan with their sheep and goats when they were forced to stop due to rain and set up camp in the Bhalna jungle.Four people, including three women, perished immediately in the Bhalna district of Keshwan, according to DC Kishtwar Dr. Devansh Yadav, in an extremely tragic occurrence that apparently occurred when a tree fell on their tent.
