JAMMU: Devender Singh Rana, a senior BJP leader, claimed today that the enormous changes in security and development that have taken place in Jammu and Kashmir over the past more than four years have given the people there hope for brighter times to come. “BJP’s Mission J&K has been to ensure welfare of the people by creating an atmosphere of peace and stability wherein every segment of society gets equitable opportunities to progress and prosper” . In the outskirts of the city, in Satwari and Chowadi, Devender Rana and senior leader Vikram Randhawa were engaging with the populace. He claimed that the BJP’s priority under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s inspirational leadership has been to improve the lives of the people, who have faced hardship for many years as a result of poor governance and other issues. Restoration of calm and normalcy was the top priority in such a dire scenario, and it was made possible by the populace’s tremendous support, which eventually sparked ground-breaking initiatives on the economic and developmental fronts. He continued, “The results are evident because the people are now reaping the benefits of peace.” Rana underlined confidence that all the regions and subregions of Jammu and Kashmir will develop as vibrant units with possibilities for prosperity for everyone, without any discrimination or appeasement-related favours, under the bold leadership of the Prime Minister. He said that the process of governance has been corrected and that the voices of all regions and sub-regions are now being heard. The Union Territory is prepared to enter a new age of progress as a consequence of coordinated efforts, he noted. With missionary zeal, he pointed to the enormous initiatives made over the years and the execution of several projects and welfare programmes, noting that these had led to the development of every segment of society.He said that the BJP’s efforts to reach out to everyone demonstrate its sincere desire to see Jammu and Kashmir develop quickly in line with their treasured objective of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, and Sabka Prayas. Rana went into great detail about a number of ground-breaking projects meant to guarantee development, build infrastructure, improve utility services, and spur growth through significant expenditures. He also discussed different measures implemented as part of the Jammu Smart City Project to enhance public spaces and other services in their entirety. He claimed that the most popular pilgrimage site in north India is now receiving the new appearance and grandeur it rightfully deserved.
