Ranchi, Feb 3: On Saturday, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will go to Jharkhand for his Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra and pay a visit to the renowned Baba Baidyanath Dham in Deoghar. The Yatra arrived in the state on Friday afternoon from West Bengal via the Pakur district. It started in Manipur on January 14. The Yatra started on Saturday morning from Sarkanda Chowk in the Godda district, following a nightly stop at Littipara in Pakur, according to Congress spokesperson Rakesh Sinha. Gandhi said that at 2:30 pm, he will go to the historic Deoghar temple devoted to Lord Shiva and offer prayers.He will also speak at a public forum and conduct a roadshow throughout the district later on. After that, the Yatra will continue on to Dhanbad, where the pilgrims will set up tent for the night. According to Sinha, the night stop has been scheduled for Halkata in the Tundi area of Dhanbad. Over the course of eight days and two phases, the Yatra will span 13 districts throughout a distance of 804 miles. It would cover 6,713 km in total over 67 days, stopping in 110 districts across 15 states before arriving in Mumbai on March 20.
