SRINAGAR: Authorities in the Pulwama district of south Kashmir stated today that they had attached the immovable property of a terrorist who was escaping from Noorpora hamlet in Awantipora on Friday as part of their ongoing campaign against terror groups. According to a police spokesman, Police Awantipora has attached the property of terror handler Feroz Ganie, son of Naber Ganie, which is spread over one kanal and fifteen marlas of orchard land, under Section 83 CrPC on the directions of the Additional Sessions Pulwama (NIA Court). Today, the revenue authorities, police, and village leaders carried out the order.“The said terrorist involved in case FIR No. 36/2023 U/S 18,20,23,25,38 and 39 UA(P) act and 7/25 Indian Arms Act of Police Station Tral was declared as proclaimed offender by Hon’ble special NIA Court Pulwama U/S 82 CrPC earlier after absconding terrorist failed to appear before investigating agency,” stated the statement. Importantly, through smuggling in weapons and ammunition and igniting local terror networks, terrorist Feroz Ganie, who is located in Pakistan, is involved in encouraging and revitalising terrorist actions.
