AYODHYA: According to sources on Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will speak to guests at the grand consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya from in front of the temple’s main entrance, known as the “Singh Dwar.” On January 22, 2019, PM Modi will open the gates of the magnificent temple to the public during the consecration ceremony. Sources predict that thousands of worshippers will flood the temple town on January 22 for the consecration. A meeting of the trust that is in charge of building and overseeing the magnificent Ram Temple in Ayodhya, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, is planned for today. The idol of Lord Ram, which will be placed inside the sanctum sanctorum of the magnificent temple at the grand opening or consecration of the shrine on January 22, is expected to be the topic of discussion, according to sources. The sources also stated that a detailed discussion of the arrangements for the temple’s consecration ceremony on January 22 will take place during the meeting. To choose the idol of Ram Lalla, the trust will convene once more. Keshav Prasad Maurya, the deputy chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, took part in the cleanliness campaign drive in the temple city earlier in the day in preparation for the major event. Speaking to reporters, he declared, “Today we have started the cleanliness campaign in Ayodhya with the resolve that Swachh Rahe Shri Ram Ka Dham (Lord Ram’s place should be cleaned).” Collectively, we can maintain Ayodhya’s cleanliness.” Previously on Wednesday, trust secretary Champat Rai announced that one of three designs would be chosen to create a 51-inch-tall idol of Lord Ram that would represent a five-year-old Ram Lalla. “The one which has the best divineness and has a child-like look about it will be selected,” he stated. According to Rai, who was describing the map of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple, the entire structure was built using 21–22 lakh cubic feet of stone. “Such a big stone structure has never been built in North or South India even in the last 100-200 years,” he stated. Below the structure is a foundation made of artificial rock composed of 56 layers that were created by engineers. Second, a plinth that is 21 feet above the ground is made up of 17,000 granite blocks that are native to Telangana and Karnataka. Approximately five lakh cubic feet of pink sandstone from Bharatpur, Rajasthan, were utilised in the construction of the temple. The pure white Makrana marble that makes up the temple’s sanctum sanctorum is ready, he informed reporters. On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to visit the temple city to officially open the Ayodhya railway station and airport, which are being renovated primarily using the temple model.
