NEW DELHI : PM Modi held a meeting with the chief ministers of the BJP-ruled states here on Sunday where issues of good governance were discussed, a regular exercise involving the party-run governments.The gathering is a component of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) good governance agenda, in which chief ministers discuss the best ways to run their own governments and carry out various welfare programmes. “Modi tweeted that he had a successful meeting with the chief ministers and deputy chief ministers of the BJP today. We talked about how to expedite development while ensuring the welfare of our people. May 28, 2023 Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, Manohar Lal Khattar, Himanta Biswa Sarma, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Pushkar Singh Dhami, Manik Saha, Pema Khandu, and others were in attendance at the meeting, which was also attended by J P Nadda, the president of the BJP. Devendra Fadnavis, the deputy chief minister of Maharashtra, and Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak, the deputy chief ministers of Uttar Pradesh, were also in attendance.
