Jammu: on Monday, authorities reported that they had discovered an ancient mortar shell next to a roadside drain. Some locals in the Roopnagar vicinity spotted the shell and alerted the police, according to them. People were ordered to leave the area as a police party arrived on the scene with urgency.
Later, according to the officials, a bomb disposal crew was called in to defuse the shell.
