SRINAGAR, May 31 : On Wednesday J&K Police said, it have booked a DDC member for wrongful restraint and voluntarily causing hurt after man accused him of assault and harassment in Srinagar.Aijaz Hussain Rather, a DDC member, has reportedly been charged with violating sections 323 and 341 of the IPC, according to Srinagar police.
The accusation against the DDC member was made by two people, Nazim Hussain Bhat and Imad Ali Mir, according to the police.
“According to a tweet from the police, “FIR no. 51/2023 u/s 323,341 of IPC dated 30.05.2023 registered in Panthachowk PS against DDC member Aijaz Hussain Rather on offences of wrongful restraint & voluntarily causing hurt.” The allegation was made by Nazim Hussain Bhat and Imdad Ali Mir.
